The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic (Bup) in Ystad consists of an outpatient clinic, a middle care unit, an infant and toddler team, and an eating disorder team. We are a staff group of about 45 employees, including nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, health and medical care curators, social workers, child psychiatrists, resident doctors, junior doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, PTP psychologists, and unit managers. During the semesters, we often have social work candidates, psychology candidates, and nursing students on site.

Bup Ystad has a positive and supportive work climate with a team that collectively possesses broad knowledge and many years of experience. Welcome to us!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is located within outpatient care, and the responsibilities include assessment and treatment, psychoeducation, and network work in collaboration with schools, municipalities, and healthcare neighbors in the local area. Treatment methods vary to suit children and young people of different ages and to best match the needs of families. The work is partially carried out through the use of digital treatment interventions. In your daily work, you will collect and assess information, make decisions, and plan the patient's care to then implement it. This primarily occurs in investigative and therapeutic conversations with both patients and guardians. Treatments are provided both individually and in group settings.

Our operations are characterized by broad child and adolescent psychiatric expertise with a strong focus on developmental issues and interdisciplinary collaboration among various professional groups. We aim to develop care and offer you good opportunities for professional development and continuous education based on interest and in line with patient needs and organizational goals. We also have a setup with individually tailored introductions, supervision, and mentorship.

The position is a parental substitute for 12 months. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30, and flexible working hours are applied.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an approved social work degree. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required in both spoken and written form. We consider it an advantage if you have/are:

  • Professional experience in child psychiatric assessment and treatment work
  • Licensed health and medical care curator

To succeed and thrive in your new role with us, it is important that you are responsible and mature, have good communication and collaboration skills, and are good at building relationships. You need to have an interest in both family work and individual contacts, as well as collaboration with colleagues and healthcare neighbors. As a person, we prefer that you are stable, proactive, can adapt to changing circumstances and varied tasks, and enjoy working both in teams and individually. Your commitment and initiative are demonstrated by your willingness and desire to contribute to knowledge and organizational development. Personal suitability is highly valued.

A background check will be conducted before any employment.

We apply ongoing selection in this recruitment. We warmly welcome your application!
